The dark comes earlier and earlier everyday that we move into the winter months. And with it a sudden urge to go out at night, to explore the city, to climb into inviting pubs and restaurants — to move through town with my beautiful wife on my side, taking nothing for granted, letting our hearts go wild, our minds collapse within the space of time and all of our energy goes to not paying attention to what is going on around us, just to what is happening, to the moment in time in which we are living.
