“People love others not for who they are but for how they make them feel.”
Loving others is not only how you make them feel, but also belief in them.  Believing in someone isn’t easy, but it often times is one of the most rewarding aspect of a relationship.  Belief takes a great amount of faith in the other person, it is this idea that there is something there that gives you the idea of believing in them, but you can’t see it, touch it, or take it with you.  It is inspiration, trust and a bond that creates the ability for belief to happen.  Belief in another doesn’t come cheap, because the act of believing in someone is, in its most active form, an amazing part of loving them.  Belief in their abilities, talents, ideas and meaning is what helps them continue to become the person they are meant to be, or, to return to self that they have lost.

Sometimes I think, the smallest act of showing someone you believe in them, telling them, is all it takes to ignite their will to continue.  So, belief, in the end, makes you feel good.  And, as the quote above says, we love people for how they make us feel.  Maybe the idea isn’t to simply feel good, but to feel like yourself, to feel like you.  To have a greater understanding, somehow via another person, as to who it is exactly that I am.
